Brilliant idea moving a fullback who's legs are not good and coming back from 4 weeks off and put him at Hooker where he has to make up to 20 tackles and get to the play the ball on a regular basis.
Honestly was is the fascination of Gutho at 9. Even then if you move your 1 to 9 and bring in a new 1, stuffs up your attack for no reason.
Would only be last 20-25 min but really just trying to keep Talagi in the fold and offer some spark later in games tbh. Also not sure hands can play a whole 80 at 9 with the pace of game.
Sorry but Talagi is nowhere near ready for full-time first grade.
His defence is absolute garbage.
Needs to spend a season or two at FB in reserve grade.
Talagi at 14 is fine just as a roving middle. But at this stage he is better off developing in Cup. I would rather MA at 14.
If he's happy to develop in nsw cup and wait his time to overtake gutho, I'm all for it. Just not sure what his mindset is
If he isn't happy to take the time to develop take his offer off the table.
Hopgood won't be playing origin.
He may get picked in the extended squad but won't play. Far better players ahead of him.
