Taylan May - credit where it's due

So I was up having a lovely breakfast in the outdoors area at a local place in St Mary's and Taylan May was eating at a table across from me. I noticed more than a dozen Penrith fans at different stages of his coffee and breakfast walk past and spot him. Each time, they approached him and said hi and on each occassion, he posed for photo with the people, getting out of his seat a few times for some other group photo's.

I know he's been through the ringer in his personal life and sits without a contract and even through all this, he was so obliging to anyone that went up to him.

I may have fan boyed him for a moment and wished him lucking getting everything back together and congragulated him on how he'd conducted himself that morning.

A nice thing to see out of the spotlight in a real moment

  • Nice blog, Rock Guy. Thanks for sharing this. I like how you wished him well. Hopefully, he gets his life in order and comes back better than ever.

  • What did you have for breakfast ?

  • He is a woman beater. He can pose for all the pictues in the world but it will not change the fact that he is a skum bag

  • Nobody are real monsters. Some are more approachable than others but at some point all players give back in some way or another. Are human reaciton is to react to their faults and not think they can be good at times.

    • Bundy, Gacey, Sutcliffe etc ring a bell.

      • What's poor Kenny Sutcliffe done wrong lol

  • I am sure he has some regrets here and so he should; these guys need it drummed into them that are playing a game they love and being paid for it. If he is good enough he will come back....

  • Tacit approval of domestic violence right there and by those "fans".

He deserves zero accolades and needs to be ostracized from regular society.

  • Hes a women beater who cares how approachable he is I hope he doesn't get a chance to come back.

Yeah people make mistakes and yeah even the worst person can be good but for what he has done he can grow and change away from the game.

    Actions have consequences

  • i will have him as a centre
