The NRL have opened a can of worms here. They stand players down over the no fault clause, but delay a suspension so someone can play finals???
I wonder if you'd be allowed to delay you're suspension to play in a grand final to the following year?

For completeness, the magistrate found him guilty did not record a conviction, which he can do under section 10 of the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act.
But, I agree - it's a ridiculous decision by the NRL considering JDB spent two years out of the game and was found not guilty by a jury.
