Looking at the rumour signing of Marty Taupau. Now, i am a fan of his, and hope we do get him.
The mystery for me, is why??
Cannot see the reason to bring someone to play under BA if he can't play his natural game and expect him to change and be a success here. He is a ball player. BA game plan style does not play like that, so in essence, Taupau would be nothing more than a battering ram at best.
He is a natural leader actually. If coached the right way, he could be destructive and calming influence on others. I am worried, if he comes, BA would take away his effectiveness.
Also we don't have players to come in an follow him, ala Tedesco
Taupau is not a structure type player.
Take the Cronk to roosters, it took most of the year for them to let Cronk play the way he needed, to get results.

im into weights, that was my point about the 300kg deadlift. THAT is why its at the bottom bit!!! it takes dedication to do that. Never said its a good reason to sign him.

I just think tolman, or a tolman type of player adds stability/disciple to a roster that is full of penalties
Personally i don't think Taupau is coming but with him we are immediately better.
Peni has been our best forward this year.
I love it when trolls come on here and upset the locals.
