Tapau to Manly 2016 onwards

A Canadian theatre critic by the name of James Kelly Nestruck has received a cracking NRL scoop after an email meant for Manly CEO Joe Kelly arrived in his inbox which revealed Wests Tigers forward Martin Taupau will be leaving for the Manly Sea Eagles. 

In what appears to be an incredible email mix-up, Nestruck claims to have received an email from a British legal professional outlining Taupau's new four-year contract at Manly. 

One explanation for the mistake could be that Nestruck bears the same first initial and surname to that of Sea Eagles CEO Joe Kelly. 

Nestruck didn't wait long to break the biggest the rugby league story to come out of North America, shocking Tigers fans and sending social media into overdrive. 

 

Taupau, 25, has been linked to the Sea Eagles, but there has been no official confirmation of his release.
