We need to get serious about fixing the board. It's great that Sharp is gone but we can't wait until next year's election to bring in a new administration. We need to fix this mess. Now. Bernie Gurr has publicly put his hand up but he won't come unless the right people are in charge who would then offer him the CEO position. I have zero confidence in the remaining directors to find a suitable CEO nor do I think they will fill the three vacant seats on the board by August to lessen the fine as issued in the breach notice. Tanya and co will remain in charge until next year's election where they have absolutely no chance of being re-elected. We seriously cannot wait that long as this club is in desperate need of immediate repair.
The fact that the remaining board has communicated literally nothing to the members and fans to explain what's happening and what the next steps are is a huge worry. I would bet anything that the board will appoint an acting CEO to take charge in the interim - possibly up until the next election. How can an acting CEO find a new football manager and start to rebuild relationships with sponsors, etc? As long as the remaining directors are still at the club we can't move forward at all.
So do we find a new board as quickly as possible or do we wait until Moss comes in to take over and privatise the club?

What a difference punctuation can make.
Its probably better at the moment that everyone is keeping their mouth shut because all of the chairmans messages were just inflaming the situation with the Nrl

If you can't count you shouldn't be on the board. More evidence may come against this mob as the integrity unit delve further into the evidence.
