Talagi to come off bench.

On NRL 350, BA said Talagi will be named on the bench (for Moretti?).

"He can cover a few different spots for us. When it gets fast we might put him on through the middle," Arthur said on NRL 360.

"We’re going to experiment with a few things with him because he does provide x-factor for us."

“Blaize is a young kid that has a real ability to find space with the ball. He’s still learning the game."

"He handled the first three games physically for us. He’s just got to get on top of some detail.”

  • I'm not a fan, unless an outside back gets injured.  Didn't he say maybe use him in the middle?.

    • I am not a fan either. As this stage of his career, Talagi just needs as much as game time as possible. And based on his performances, it has to be game time in reserve grade. Talalgi may not even come on the field. He covers fullback, centre, 5/8 and lock thoroughout his junior career. Feel like he is too small for lock at NRL level.

    • Happy he's in. Not a fan of using 4 forwards up in the heat of Darwin. Simonsson wouldn't be 100% given he got injured over the weekend. Having an outside back on the bench is a good move. Hope Matto is the one dropped.

      • Agree.

Just get him involved and keep him there in whatever capacity.

The kid has it all apart from experience at the top level.

Looking forward to watching his progress.

  • Ahhhh what?? Moretti is being dropped? That's ridiculous

    • Dropping Tuilagi makes more sense. Tuilagi is used to cover the backrow and centre. But with Talagi there to cover centre and Matto able to cover the back row, I am a bit confused by the decision to drop Moretti over Tuilagi.

    • He's quickly becoming my favourite player

      • Moretti is a weapon. Runs hard and defenders always have trouble putting him down. Great leg drive and he tackles hard too.

        • Moretti reminds me of Nathan brown in his heyday. I really like him

          • Moretti has been awesome. Hope we don't let him go.  Beast in development $
