Taking the two

So at the games I sit behind the Eels bench, so I get a tremendous look at what goes on from there. At the end the staff was pointing at going for the two, instead you could see Moses irritated at being told and pushed to go for the 2 by Steve Murphy and finally last second decides to tell Mahoney to go for the tap.

Now, common sense in that situation should prevail in the sense of out F/A is terrible and any points are good points. So it baffled me to think why they chose to ignore the call from Arthur and staff to get an extra two points.

Now what I'm about to say isn't gospel, it isn't confirmed or rumoured, just strictly my opinion. But was this a revolt from the team pretty much saying we got the win and a good win, we are not listening to you anymore. They looked like a team playing for themselves tonight despite Arthurs terrible interchanging.

I could be completely wrong but just think it was very odd, accumulating with all the talk of players leaving could there be a player revolt happening?
