I wish we could put a player cam on Takairangi just to show his half efforts and lack of footy IQ. Everyone sees the dropped balls, flick passes to no one , shitty kicks and general ill dicipline with and without the ball.. but his 150th was a doozy even by his lofty standards. He even almost had his 2nd try in 23 games. Outstanding strike rate for a centre, but alas hi sbrain, hands and feet let him down.
Off the top of my head we had the well weighted Moses kick when we were struggling for posession. Marata was the only chaser on one side of the field. Fergy was struggling to breathe through his nose and Takkas decided to take the play off and watch. When he realised he better come up and make a tackle the fullback was out and away they went.
His 'chase' back off the Paulo intercept. Legit lol.
When Wighton almost scored but Marata and Guth came up with a last ditch effort to force the knock on. Mr 150 realised the threat on the blind and you can see him call out. Then proceded to 'superman' right past everyone and throw himself into touch. He also did this earlier but didn't throw himself into touch instead cut Fergys legs out from under him.
There was a kick chase on the Canberra fullback when Takkas had moved to the wing. Admittedly a position unfamilar to him and one he is definately not built for. Takkas decided to come in and help half assed and a simple offload from the attackers free arms saw Cotric race downfield .
We also have more obvious moments where he dropped the ball with the line wide open although in fairness it may not have counted if he caught it anyway because I think he may have been running out of bounds.
Deadset this stupid player has played 83 games for us with a number of dumb errors in all of them. For all the little improvements BA is implementing as he learns from his mistakes, its his loyalty to dumb players like this that will cost him his job.
Looking forward to the next installment of the Brad Takairangi Show as whilst ever BA is here, it appears there will be a place in the team for dopey footballers. Here's to 150 more !

Yes yes and yes. I agree, been saying it for ages about Taka. Well researched and written. Except for the BA reference your on the money Fire. Lol
He plays or misses plays like these each and every week. Wouldn't think he will be around next year, surely not.

Thats what happens when you play well. Getting rid of terrible players like Taka from a winning side is controversial. He reminds me of a player that just gets thrown into centre because of injuries not your fkn no. 1 starter. Hopefully salmon gets a shot there (which was the initial intention) very soon
