Taka’s HIA discussed on League Life

who is our trainer that gave the thumbs up that quickly when Taka clearly fucked and didn’t know where he was after playing the ball sideways and head smashed into the ground. Always thought that trainer looked like a dope and watching the footage back just mumbles a couple words to taka and gives the sideline the thumbs up to play on before getting an official HIA and pulled off the field. He was accessed and good to come back. I’ve noticed a couple of times that this trainer seems like a bit of a push over. Was curious what everyone thought of the situation and the trainer.

  • I was suprised he stayed on. Should have been pulled off straight after.

The trainer can't do his job properly. 1stly you take the player's health in consideration and 2nd the impact a dizzy player stays on the field for the team. If I was a Raiders player I would have run straight at him after that.

    • They did taka gof knock over real easy that why he went off for HIA

      • Why do I think he played the next set and then came off?

  • Why wasn't the Raiders player who caused the knock to Taka's head also brought into question on League Life? He should have been penalised (minimul) or sent for off for the same amount of time as the HIA test.

    • Pretty sure his head hit the ground, no fault of opposition player, unless you support the recent ref call in some game where they penalised for excessive force in a tackle.

  • Pretty sure he wasn't actually concussed and more embarrassed he played the ball out of bounds. Taka special that one.
