Taka hoping to announce 2yr extention within the week.

The promising John Folau moves from wing to centre with the loss of Brad Takairangi for one week after copping a one week suspension for a dangerous throw. Still on Takairangi, expect him to sign a new two-year deal with the club over the next 48-hours. The Eels are confident of welcoming back Tepai Moeroa, who missed last weekend's win over South Sydney due to a leg infection.

      Better than Tahu????  Really???   In 07 Tahu was the best centre in the NRL.   That said i think Taka has been a great pick up and am glad he is happy to stay for a few more years.

    He's out for 1 week for suspension, injury has come good as far as I've heard and will be playing round 6

    That's greats news but I wish he was playing this week because he would of rip them apart because he would of show JT he should of keep him but im glad JT let him go and now we got him  and keeping him

    LMFAO at all the guys who bytched and moaned when Taka was first announced as an Eel.

    I am just sooooooooo dammed gutted we didn't get to see Champion in action under BA.
