Is it just me, Our last few games I've lost count of the amount of poor reads in defence, coming from Taka. He appears slow, and disjointed in defence, leaving gaping holes for opposition teams to stroll through. To me the way he is playing at the moment he is just gifting opposition teams tries. Am I being harsh! Do we have anyone else able to step up considering wenty 's results haven't been crash hot either.Go Parra !

  • Hes ageing and injuries are taking their toll on taka. He is begining to lose his pace with first grade. I think its time he makes the permanent trasnsition to backrow like majority of ageing centres have done before like luke lewis and ben smith. He has got a damaging hit up on him (when he isnt injured) but he is struggling to create attacking chances like he use to with semi. I think its time BA simplified taka's role more

It doesnt help either that hoffman is struggling defensively to communicate as a winger which again makes taka pretty woeful out there, if both of them are going to play first grade it shouldnt be where they are currently

  • He's dogshite . Surely we have a young bloke or two ready to take the next step ? We usually have 100 coconuts waiting to play in the centre /Wings .
  • O really over this bum rushing up. I love taka but cost us a lot of tries this year. If u are letting in more than setting up u need to get your shit together
  • I thought he was gunna get a start by now .
  • Seasons over won't play semi finals who cates
  • Can't help but care Ed, if we have someone good enough to take Taka's position, Hoff settles down and maintains the line, we get Moses next week, and if BA can put a rocket up our forwards, we should have a good team, that could at least give us some hope each week. I dont know who replaces Taka.
  • This would be my backline when we are at full strength:

    1.  French

    2.  Auva'a

    3.  M.Jennings

    4.  Gutherson

    5.  Radradra

    6.  Norman

    7.  Moses

    Forwards:

    8.  Mannah

    9.  K.Pritchard

    10.  Vave

    11.  Ma'u

    12.  Moeroa

    13.  Brown

    Res:

    14.  Edwards

    15.  F.Pritchard

    16.  Terepo

    17.  Scott

    Takarangi and Matagi dropped.

    • Matagi miles better than Mannah and Scott.
    • Auvuaa struggled to read defence in a known position, how would he fair in an unknown position?
