TAHU - LEAVE NOW

I wish I was upset after Tahu had an awesome year last season and now with all these dramas I was worried that he may not be able to tear them to shreds next year for us.

But the truth is,he wasnt very good at all this season just gone and I dont see him playing the house down next season.

The most effort he has put in since coming back from the ARU has been towards de-railing Parramattas chances. With all his experience he could be a real leader to the big bunch of youngsters we have in the side, but instead he is showing them exactly what not to do.

Im fed up with his BS and would be happy to hear that he has given the game away.

  • OMG I think I speak on behalf of the intelligent fans when I say JUST SHUT UP. Thank god I'm not a moderator I'd delete so many blogs and ban so many people !!! Lol !!! Oh and this is directed at all anti tahu fans not just you Simon !
  • No way man give Tahu a chance
  • if we kept jonno wright, then i'd have no problems with Tahu leaving..however, he is with the Blue and gold next year and i hope he has a massive year and returns to his damaging best..
  • Easier if you leave Simon.

Quick to forget he made State of Origin squad.
  • mate - you are a tool
if tahu needs a couple of weeks off to sort himself out, then thats what he should have
come back when you are ready tahu

i hope your friends and family dont say that to you when you need help
  • I dont know where all the Tahu love is coming from, he isnt a junior, he isnt half as good as he was expected to be, he was quick to leave the Eels for rugby union, he is the face in the paper almost every day for the wrong reasons. Look how long Hindmarsh and Burt have been in the game...Tahu has been in the papers more in the last few months then they have in more then a decade.
I was as excited as any fan out there with Tahu coming back, Im a huge fan of a level headed ripping and tearing Tahu. But he just isnt there any more, and to top it off, there is all this stuff off the field.
  • I agree that Tahu did not have the season we all hoped for, but then again we missed the 8 after being favorites. So really, not many players had the season we hoped for either.
I still think Tahu will have plenty to contribute to the side next season.
The reality is we all face problems in life, and we require support from friends, family & employers. To suggest getting rid of him, I believe would be detrimental to both Tahu mentally, as well as the Eels side.
I'm looking forward to see how he battles to return to where he was.
  • Lol I know :( but it's so frustrating having to read one million new 'tahu go away' blogs. I don't know why people have to start a new one every 5 secs. Anyway sorry for being rude, it was a heat of the moment anger rant lol !!! But Simon in all seriousness Tahu has done nothing to warrant this backlash from some of his own fans. It's really sad that some people can't have his back especially when most of the things reported are just media drivel.
  • Why does Tahu have to be gone?
What sort of image is the club presenting to current and future players if we kick Tahu to the curb when he's going through a troubled time in his life?

When on song, he's one of the games best centres, and he's proven that in the past.
Every player has a poor run of form, and every player suffers some sort of form slump, some longer than others, and for Tahu, this is it.

When his head is in the right place, and with the right support from his family, his team-mates and the club, he'll come back better than ever, and he'll get the critics to realise just how valuable he is to our back-line, and our team.
  • Yeah none at all mate, thanks for your input.
