Tahu - how good was that hit

I know on this blog it has been mentioned many times how Tahu can pull off some big hits, but last night his get square hit on Matai was one I'll remember for a long time. For those unlucky enough not to be watching the game, Matai was his usual aggressive (caty) self smashing several of our boys (illegally & legally). His begaviour went unanswered until our enforcer saw Matai about to receive the ball and rushed up out of the line, and exacted revenge with a brutal hit that brought shivers up & down my spine. I must say I LOVE having Tahu back in our team.

  • Matai is a dog and that hit was superb. Tahu is the animal that Parramatta needs to bring out its inner mongrel.

The other excellent hit on Matai that i saw last night was the hit he put on himself, when he attempted to tackle a runaway Inu and knocked himself the f@#$ out and had to be assisted from the park, well to me that was gold.

Matai needs to be rubbed out of the game, he is nearly as bad as Hopoate.
Every time Hopoate played he would injure somebody with his stupidity, this is the same stupidity displayed by Steve "im a grub" Matai. Even Manly coach Desmond "the grub"Hasler cringed when he hit Humble around the head, and then clocked Hayne across the ears.

IMO he will get 6 weeks from the judiciary for the hit on Humble.
  • looks Matai will be out for 4 weeks for the 2 high shots he put on Humble and Hayne
  • matai is a cat, preys on small five eights and wingers and hits them high he should of got sin binned but im glad he didnt otherwise we wouldnt of seen that awsome shot by tahu.
  • Was saying the whole game they should put tahu on matais side to get him back. But Matai was stupid enough to run at tahu.
  • Pretty sure this is teh first time Tahu is playing centre in rep footy... would love to see him put a few hits on in origin.

On another note, who was the poster a few weeks back (after the cronulla game I think) that said Inu>Tahu..... is he busy removing the egg from his face
  • If you watch the footage closely, once the momentum stops you can see Tahu grab Matai by the scruff of the neck and have a few gentle words before he gets off him ....

Pretty sure he wasn't asking him out to dinner either ....
  • he should have been sent off for his petulance to the referee after the hit on Hayne. What you get I suppose with Lyon as captain
