I live up in the Hunter and heard a whisper a month ago about Tahu, come up in a conversation with a Knights employee. I actually didn't think much of it as I thought Tahu was still contracted to Parra.
Wouldn't be 2 sad to see him leave. Has gotten involved too much with the media since returning, and getting involved in all these racial affairs (though not entirely his fault) is giving a bad look to the club. Nevertheless, he has done alright since returning (suggested, and played in SOO), but his departure could let us sign Tonga, and free up room in the salary cap
You make some valid points Tony (as usual) but dammit Tahu has really shot himself in the foot a number of times since coming back to the eels.

We only lost Tonga because he couldn't get a start with Lyon in first grade. He signs for the dogs and six weeks later Lyon nicks off.
