Sydney Thunder

If it wasn't bad enough having to put up with the pathetic performance today, we have to put up with an interview with "ladies who league" blogger Mary.BBL entertainment was poor tonight.

  • Was it my tv or was the coverage abismal ?
  • Thunder players all had grease on their hands in that game

  • Terepo must be the Thunder catching coach during the off season.

Well done, even in cricket NSW gets beaten by QLD.
  • So disappointing. When Brisbane were 6 down it looked like an early finish was coming. With Lynn at the crease though, there was still a faint heartbeat.
That drop over the boundary from Russell was unforgivable. I was watching him in the field and he was relaxed in all he did. Too relaxed in his catch attempt and it cost them 12.
  • Watto was man of match for Thunder.....his slow walk off lasted 10 mins and his dropped catch was abysmal. Shows how some ex players need to retire
  • LOL

  • Absolutely loved it. I thought we were gone for all money . Lynn is probably one of the best T20 batsman in the world but probably wont get picked again for Australia until he moves to NSW.
Great to see Brendan McCallum in the BBL. He is positive no matter what the scenario.
    • I don't think you will need to worry Fathead. Read today's Aust. newspaper, and th good old CA wish to have a Christmas BBL game soon, and also they've scheduled tests as well as a 20/20 on the same day. Seems greed has taken over and no doubt we will need a 2nd Aust. Team to player the 20/20....
It's a joke, they'd even contemplate playing games on Christmas Day, as well as having a test and 20/20 on the same time.
What they do not seem to fathom is that there is an overload of sport on too and cricket is losing its mantra due to so much played during the year. Quality over quantity IMO.
  • What the hell is a Sydney Thunder ?
    • an actual western sydney based team that won the competition last year.

"TDS is still young, with plenty of improvement left in him. He could still play Flegg in 2026 ffs. And despite being two years younger than Ryley Smith, he has played nine more NRL games."
