1. Lomax is a leader and although elite on the wing needs to be in the middle for his sake and for our sake while we are short on good leadership.
2. Iongi will take a while to get his defence up to scratch and may benefit with a little bit of time away from being targeted

No, he's not going to be our fullback long term so no point putting him there for the year.
Besides that, his passing is very average.
Exactly, it's not like we are winning a premiership this year. Why hamper the kids progress lol
Lomax would be doing the same crap at fullback as in the centers, stupid no look passes, rushing up and creating gaps, caught out of position. For him to be good you have to keep it simple, that's why he is great on the wing. That's his best position and where he should be.
Look it's round 4, and Iongi is doing well. He's played how many NRL games? Not many.
We have several players who have played min NRL games and are without our half and have a 5/8 who's elsewhere it seems.
Give them time for me
He has played 5 NRL games, he is getting the crap knocked out of him and he will be better with the initiation. He is not awful, just average to at times decent.
just worried being thrown in the deep end too soon could kill his confidence
5 games the kid is doing well overall
The inexperience of the spine around him is killing him. But Iongi has been mostly solid
Iongi must stay at FB, and Lomax needs to go to wing. He'd be devastating.
Cramming your star players in the cool position doesn't always work.
Well said. Lomax's strengths are suited to Fullback, he will have too much to do. Plus his passing today under pressure was atrocious, at a Fullback it wont work. Yes Iongi had a forward pass but we have seen in pre-season he can pull off that pass.
