The problem i have with the AFL is that they try to take over and there dodgy about it. That whole thing where they put up signs at ovals saying no rugby league or other ball games really pissed me off. I just dont get why ppl like it its just a mess airiel ping pong. They even bought nrl players just to try and promote the game in nrl heartlands.
It only attracts crowds in Sydney cause its the only team in Sydney(gws are a lost cause). Also in melbourne its kinda like a tradition to go to games. I asked an old lady how hawthorn her team is going and she had no idea she said i only go to games for the socialising . The games a mess its like there is no format.

Mate I love watching AFL. I usually go to about 3-4 swans games a year. Also enjoy Rugby Super 15's. Usually get to 1 or 2 Tahs games a year. I go to a couple of WSW games as well and don't mind some beers at the cricket when I can get there.
I've never understood the code wars. Me and a lot of my mates regularly attend matches of other codes. Also don't mind watching Cardinals in the MLB, or a bit of NFL as well.
They started it and then they say there is no code war so they are under the rader.
