HAHAHAHA, they just realise this now.....
STEVE Sharp is not just the poster boy of the Eels salary cap scandal.
In a delicious irony, the now-suspended Parramatta chairman is also the face of the state’s consumer affairs watchdog body NSW Fair Trading.
Sharp is featured at the top of Fair Trading’s home page, apparently as one of six people who represent the diverse skills that make up the watchdog.
Sharp is a plumbing supervisor working for Fair Trading, which since 2012 has been the state’s plumbing regulator. And where is Fair Trading’s head office?
Why, in Parramatta of course, where, until recently, Sharp’s name has carried a fair bit of cache as the chairman of the Eels.
How does Victor Dominello, the state minister in charge of Fair Trading, feel about Sharp — the man who has overseen Parramatta’s anything but fair use of the salary cap — being used as poster boy for the watchdog?
“The ministerial office is aware of the situation,” a spokesman said.
It is understood at this point there are no plans to take the photo down.
Watch this space on that one.

This is just petty. Fair enough take aim at Sharp for his role in the rorting but this is just kicking a man while he's down.
