Sure is quiet here haha

I mean i was one that abused them last week, they deserved it. As they also did the week prior. Though i did say if some miracle happens and they win they could be back on track. That miracle sure did happen. I involved myself in the conversations of getting Bennett, but also understood BA was not going to be gone til end of the year at least unless we lost to NQ and go on a slide. Thankfully, he has proved me wrong for now and got them up enough to save face for a week til Moses is back. We get a game close to Moses coming back.

It amazed me throughout weeks 1-3 where we looked really good, unlucky v Penrith. Then to have back to back dreadful games to where we all thought the season was over (myself included). Today's win is a good win, we were the better team overall based on winning the middle. Stats wise, both teams were level. But will say this, a few of our errors early came from a sense of flamboyant play that made up for not having Moses. Moses there and the errors drop i feel. A lot of positives.

Now onto next week v Redcliffe in Darwin. They will be without Tabuai-Fidow, Farnworth, Kaufusi and maybe Flegler. Plus Nikorima and Milford being out also added with Plath and Donaghue. Dolphins are stripped bare and ripe for the taking.

  • Gutho kicks that goal against Wests and tonight we`d be 4th / 5th instead we `re back in 12th , footy eh .

  • Maybe many are shocked with what happened in Bondi  and don't feel like celebrating

    • This

    • Quiet as in no complaints.

  • As many have said we have a few outlier efforts in the kit bag...I am happy we won as we really needed it but is this the cure all for the season or is this the line in the sand 38 years later .........I dont think so .....so Unicorn the F out of this win .....

  • I've been a mix of being content that I'm not pissed  off , and very upset about the Bondi incedent. I have spent a lot of time in that Westfields over the years. I've had freinds with shops in there , shopped there , had meetings in there and was a sales rep in there many many moons ago. It's a reality check for many to relate with those poor shoppers.

  • Man we still desperately need a couple of outside backs.

Russell just keeps losing moments. We were lucky he got the winger out but so many of the raids down his side he comes up with nothing. 3 examples that stand out so you guys can judge for yourself are the Holmes try.. Penisni had his weekly lost moment but Russell just came in and came up with absolutely nothing.. the Drinkwater miracle try.. Sean gave up on it and was on a treadmill and the cross field kick at the end of the game where he had Val Holmes 2cm from the sideline with his back turned and absolutely whiffed on the tackle ... this shit is reserve grade standard and is going to be costly every week.  Harper cops a lot off folk , he has some blunders in him but he also competes and does some things at a first grade level. Simonsson was fantastic.

    • I agree. I think the club knows this too and are desperate to get Lomax here this year. Lomax alone would transform our outside back threat. We also need Sivo to sort himself out. By all reports he was barely noticeable in NSW Cup with lazy hit ups and defence. I think he's cooked but we really need him to fire up and start bending the line once again.
Agreed about Harper. I think he's nowhere near as bad as he cops in this forum. He's definitely NRL level. Russell just isn't NRL level. He's a nice guy and a decent body size but he's had long enough to show more. He's become an absolute liability in defence. Problem is there's not much below pushing for spots.

      • Radio report said he was lazy as we have all seen of recent times and he let in plenty of points down his side. I don't expect him to be back very soon.
