Its apparently been brewing for over a year, i don't think it will happen but i think theres going to be lots of threats of a break away until the status quo is forced out.
SL v2.0 has been on the drawing board for over a year.
One of the Ch 9 commentators heavily involved - and possibly floated the original idea.
Snake may be right - perhaps a lot of posturing, pushing and shoving by the clubs for a better deal.
