I do love Gutho. But this year and next year might be it for him. Or possibly move him to another position.

When you did ever hear of the Roosters (or Storm) lose a player they want to keep? Won't happen, already earmarked as Teddy's successor.

Not sure we can afford to pay him 800k a season to play centre and then pay another 800k+ for Suali. 800k is what you'd pay the best centres in the game.

The Chooks would have happily extended his contract instead he took the 1 year option. I don't think he wants to be tied up for too long, keep his options open for a code switch
