  • This was always happening. I'll bet you that Uncle Nick has an arching contract with Sualli'i that guarantees he returns to the Roosters after the 2027 RWC.

  • Probably, but Gutherson will be turning 33 in 2027 so unless Russell or Arthur Miller-Stephen step up we will be looking for a full-back

    • I'd be backing Sean Russell in.

  • I wouldn't mind if the NRL put a 5 year ban on any player that goes to Rugby.

It would make the young talent think twice before jumping ship but still leaving the older players the opportunity to cash in in their final years.

Sick of the NRL being treated like an ex that will take you back after you have had an affair will their hot friend (NOT speaking from experience)

    • I don't think that would work. I think the Chooks have the right approach, be pragmatic about it. Go and have some fun, when you're ready to get serious again, come back.

    • Yeah, the player would sue the NRL (and win). It's right of employment. He hasnt done anything illegal.

The NRL fucked us and its self not allowing us to register Izzy Folau. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot not allowing a marqee player come back to the game.

    • I'd be surprised if he went.

  • $1.6 million for a winger with potential. FMD.

I thought Rugby was broke, how the hell can they afford to pay that much for a player with potential?
