  No we need to be playing for points otherwise any success we have will be meaningless as its with a team deemed over the cap.
  I love peats and what he brings but of all the players on the chopping board he is the easiest to replace.

  What says we could keep peats after this year anyway? If we couldn't keep him next year guess we do chop him now and play for points.

    Oh it's not a good idea to lose anyone anyway and rather no points, but your club captain at time like this who also happens to be one of our only props is not really good idea I would think.

  I agree i would much rather have peats stay than gain points this season, he has done nothing wrong why should he suffer. Even if we are accruing points this season it wont be as enjoyable knowing that we had to push one of our most consistent, hardest working players out. Its still going to be a tough ask to make finals footy, there is no guarantees.
