I've gotta say Ricky was schooled today. So much was made of the raiders start and their attacking flair. They had both of their playmakers back so it's a fair win. What I will say is that BA's coaching strategy this match blew Ricky out of the water. Two main aspects of this... Line speed was awesome this maych. Eels have had good line speed all season but this match it wasn't just the wingers coming up. The centres cut down sezer and austins time to basically nothing. Secondly, and more importantly I think, was Arthur's dtrategy to attack the raiders right side defense. It's been known for years and every coach and raiders fan knows you attack the left side due to crokers poor defense.i had a raiders mate text me he wa worried about it today. So if you are Ricky you bulk up that side. What does that do? It means there are less on the left. bA had a definate strategy of attacking the side raiders assumed they WOULDNT attack. Ricky consider yourself schooled hahahahahah

    Blitzkrieg is exactly what it was lol. Ricky came to pirtek expecting a hard defensive match with not many points. At least he was half right hahahaha

    Shouldn't RS being using the Hayne excuse from last year!! We were beaten by a team that has a rep player. And this year, it's Foz and Jennings.

    Great blog.

    I don't get to as many games as I'd like to, but boy was I proud to be there this arvo.

    Watching the attack start to gel whilst the defense stayed rock solid. We're looking like a seriously professional outfit, and a lot of that credit goes to the dedication, vision and perseverance of BA.

    God I'm glad we got him over JT. At the time I was hoping for JT, I couldn't have been more wrong.

    Good to see the genius that is Dean Pay is still an outstanding defensive coach lol.

    Ricky being shown up is just par for the cause for the biggest myth in RL, he has built a good team and with the easiest draw 3 years running the top 8 should be a formality for a bloke who has not coached finals football since 2008.   I still reckon they will struggle to make the top 8.
