Just looking at the ladder, eels, knights, bunnies and titans are struggling and seem to be behind the rest of the competition when you watch their games. I think the other 3 clubs are in a worse spot then us so at least we won't get the spoon 🤣

Great news. We can hold our head up high.
It will get worse before it gets better
Worst part is dragons, tigers and dogs showing more fight then the eels. Flanno has worked wonders for the dragons. Once BA is gone eels might have a similar turnaround
Well both teams are playing with low expectations where it is easy to go under the radar. Not saying that is a bad thing but all are trying hard. Even Newcastle i would argue are trying reletively hard, but Parra and Souths both near the bottom and not trying.
Many here knocked Flanno, where i loved the idea of him. But he has shown what a voice can do to an average roster. Hoops said simply if Bennett goes there in 2025 he has Parra in his 4.
Similar to Bennett when he took over from Brown at St. George Illawarra or Green taking over Henry at North Queensland, a good squad just needs a new voice for that last hurdle, someone who has seen success.
Quite the opposite really, we are more likely to get the spoon then the other 3 if things as they currently are stay the same. The other 3 teams are trying (souths a bit iffy) the eels are giving up. Remember 2018 when the eels got the spoon, we finished top 4 the year before and had pretty much the same roster yet we got the spoon because we gave up.
Ponga ruled out for 3 months is a big blow, raiders losing Fogarty for 3 months prob sinks them to. Maybe once Moses is back eels can go on a run but it look bleak currently
