I had a mate say to me, during our run to the finals, that if we didn't have Hayne, we wouldn't of been in contention. To an extent, he is right, Hayne did carry this team for a few games while the others became motivated and confidence was being gained. Although this year, I don't think I can say he is right.
We've all discussed how opposite teams will be trying to put pressure on Hayne and nullify him as much as possible. In my opinion, and probably everyone else's, this is not such a bad thing to happen. As it is, Parramatta have probably one of the most talented backlines in the league, players like:
Inu (who can produce magic at any time)
Burt ( who is one of the most versatile players at the club and is still a speedster)
Reddy (solid defensively, strong offensively, has speed and can push over the line)
Grothe (people bag his defense, but the man is immense going forward, is quick and can push off players)
Tahu (what can you say about this man, he is a beast. A big hit, hard running, quick, side stepping beast and will add massive potency to our attack
Apart from the backline you also have Kris Keating, who I think would work better as a hooker, using his darting runs, speed and side stepping abilities to their full potential. Also add Mateo into this and you have a hard ball runner, skillful and an offloader which adds huge potency to the attack.
Of course, these players are our star players, and I haven't even mentioned mortimer or humble among others, because each players adds their bit to the team, and I think that this team has one of the strongest attackers in the game
