What is a good result here for the Eels given we play them, for real, next week?
If we win tonight the ‘riff will be pissed and think “how the hell did we lose to the wooden spooners?” They will fire up next week and make sure they are focussed.
If if we lose tonight, maybe we can lull them into a false sense of security and they might lose focus next week. Of course, the flip side is our confidence will suffer and will mean we haven’t won a game since 11th August 2018.
I just hope we don’t get any injuries and they lose a couple.

Watching the 1st half of the Knights- Sharks trial.
Newcastle completely flat apart from the odd run from Ponga. I don't like him at 5/8. He doesn't have the space to weave his magic. Brown will be shooting himself in the foot if he plays him there. Connor Watson can't hold onto the ball for his life. He gave up 12 points. Dropped one in goal and dropped another when a Knights try seemed certain.
Sharks are really solid defensively as they must have made 15 tackles in their 10 but held their ground. Nothing fancy from Shawn Johnson so far.
