Not making excuses, 64 points is disgusting.
However, I don't think any team would have beaten Melbourne this week after Bellemy's rant. He publicly questioned their culture (which I don't think he or anyone else has done before), called them crap, and put every player on notice of being axed if they didn't lift. It was an extreme set of circumstances for the Club and players and, when you have that much talent in your roster, it was always going to result in a win.
Craig Bellemy has a quality that no other coach seems to have as much of - he consistently demands maximum effort and strict compliance from his players, whom almost always respond - No team carries out their coaches game plan as clinically or effectively as the Storm.
Therefore, I think it was inevitable that we were gong to lose this weekend.
We need to respond strongly now.

J.b.g , i responded to a blog recently about certain coaches ie : a c.belamy and a Daniel Anderson who both have a ruthless pyscho look in their eyes, uncompromising, no nonsense , verbal abuse in your face approach way of laying down not only instructions but demanding what was expected not only from the whole playing group but to certain individuals , or else on ya bike ! . Arthur even though he looks and sound like a decent bloke who bleeds blue and gold and may have tried a strict military in your face approach , his character imo does not enforce a stand of " enough is enough " . One may say what about Bennett ( walking dead , don't say much ) but his body characteristics demands and commands notice as soon as he walks into any dressing room. Next week B.A needs to yell and bitch slap every individual before they run out , a loss next week , well ... anyway the name toovey keeps crossing my mind , nevertheless good luck parra
