It infuriates me that the Storm continue to employ such a victim mentality. The more evidence that comes out, the more it appears that the players were aware of what was going on and simply felt it appropriate to cheat. We are not talking about being over the cap by a couple of thousand, at this stage, the Storm were going to be $1.5 million over, just next year.
Add to this the niggling, sledging and scummy tactics employed by them on Friday night, the lead up (where Finch felt it appropriate to say we didn't deserve the Premiereship) and the impact that such blatant cheating has had especially on our club. I think you will find our club and its supporters are entitled to be upset.
The Storm have done enough damage this year. The only people involved who deserve sympathy are their fans.
And maybe Todd Lowrie. ;-)
What did they expect going to Parra Stadium.....
