Storm players escape suspension but not Eels

Both Harry Grant and Brandon Smith escaped suspension with only fines but Junior Paulo likely to face 2 weeks suspension. Seriously how is that possible? Are the Storm players like an untouchable species or something. Totally unfair.

    • He can be suspended for 1 week with an early guilty plea, which he will take. Won't hurt him having a week off anyway. We need him fit and firing for the next week.

  • His suspended for a week not two.

  • 1 week with an early guilty plea

  • How the fuck do these clowns make these decisions?  Brandon Smiths I can live with, But Grants ?

    • Yes B Smith was unlucky with his high tackle. Niukore was falling. But Grant should of got 2 weeks like Liam Knight. Simple reason he is not suspended is because he belongs to STORM. Such corruption.

      • And corruption isn't too strong a word to describe the NRL MRC.

      • I'd argue Grants was worse. Knight swings around the body it what I reckon just him trying to pull the body down, and he lands on the back of the foot. Harry Grant actually wraps his leg around Maka's leg, then drops his body. Check out this image showing where his right foot is:

  • Harry Grant's tackle was deliberate. He wrapped the leg around before dropping his body. The MRC either have their money on the Storm or have no idea. Take your pick.

    • I'm with you Jim. I can't believe Grant wasn't suspended for that.
