They lost the greatest fullback to ever play the game and don't have halves yet they bought few a new bunch of players that have started to show they have the Storm culture ingrained in them .
Probably do them well next year too to be honest .
They were arguably one of the best defensive teams over last 20 years . They are a relatively young team with an outgoing champion spine and next wave coming through . They will be 1 or 2 again next year guaranted.
Success is expected and the normal for the storm ... we need to get that happening here

Yes I can see them coming first and see us coming 5 th again
"i think what ruined the storm, was what ruined us, broncos were so woeful that we were not up to the challenge of melb and same for them"
And storm did what we did and came out harder and better in the 2nd half but all to late.
PS: screw the storm, the pack of wankers

Well really doesn’t matter now, what I just herd on triple m from Paul Kent that Cameron Smith will announce he will retire on dally m night, this Wednesday STORM ARE GONE
Your personal feelings are getting in the way now EAM.
15 years of sustained excellence, just ask every other team how hard that is to achieve, including the Roosters. They are the benchmark, they had an outstanding season despite falling short.
To say any differently is just plain stupid.

They are massive chokers, 13 years of dominance and just two comps and a cap scandal to show for it.
beautiful to see these grubs shit the bed when it matters yes again.
"Only thing I'll say to this is having landed Galvin it aligns more to the Moses prime timeline and it's a like for like swap for DB.
Adaptive yes I completely agree as soon as that fell through the messaging changes and the club pivots."

Apart from him getting games over the line during Covid and becoming a hero as a result, he appears as a shonky character and certainly someone I…"
"Just so casual calling the game regulator to 'regulate' the Eels to their favor so they can get what they want. Isn't this attitude so demeaning for the Eels treating the organisation as a low life club that they can do whatever they want. Good for…"

They still pocketed $200k...$100k each for being minor premiers and finals week 3 loser. Same as what GF runner up will get.

Considering they didn't even make the grand final you'd have to say it didn't do them any good.
They had 2 bites of the cherry , 2. Home games in semis. Coming first was good
if you feel they should have been in grand final or won it , otherwise a waste ... why have semis
why support the eels in the semis if you feel the result should be a fair accompli

I agree with this 100%
