Storm Continue To Receive Helping Hands Again!

Seriously, can any other team beat the Storm this year when they receive so many helping hands from dubious refereeing decisions, bunker calls and are the NRL favourites? Very highly unlikely and just add to that the G.O.A.T. (Grubbiest. Of. All. Time.) is in their side how could they possibly be beaten. So I'm tipping a Melbourne Storm premiership in 2019!

  • Eh, I was going for Storm just purely because them winning is better for us positionally on the ladder.

  • But I agree, ridiculous. Anyway I really hope we get top 4 and play them in week one of finals. I think Storm can be beaten.

  • So true MontoEel.   Its a disgrace.

One day somebody wll get seriously injured with the neck holds and that forearm to the throat running action.

No ref is stoping them its infuriating

  • Um 9 penalties in a row for Bunnies.

    • Annnnnnd??? They could of blown 30 in that time.  If you look at every tackle you could just about blow a penalty.

  • They are an absolute cancer on the game.  Thry give away 9 penalties in a row and not even a warning.  Then the refs put their whistles away while they continue Wrestlemania.

  • I love how many NRL fans reference WWE. They're just so similar. Parra need to win the rumble and beat Storm at Wrestlemania

    • Only trouble is if Parra adopt the wrestlemania tactics of the Storm it will be a enormous penalty count against them. They won't get away with it like the Storm do!

  • The storm’s philosophy will go unmatched for ever. The way they give away penalties without a care in the world knowing full well that C.Smith will have a word in the ear of the refs at some stage to lighten the load & penalties to eventually stop. Yesterday was a perfect example. Lie all over them give away 7-8 penalties in a row, if they only concede 1 or 2 tries which they did, great! Enter Smith at half time having a quiet chat in the refs ears saying ‘come on sir’ we’re not that bad 8 penalties in a row? Second half they do exactly the same lying all over the play the ball, holding down, knowing full well that they surely won’t cop another 8 penalties in row meaning no Chance souths can beat em if they defend as well as they did in the first half. I had a souths mate who was at the game & he said the crowd was going ballistic at the refs but in the second half hardly got one call. It reminded me of our semi final in 17 & any time we’ve played them.

  • What a rubbish blog! We all know Monto doesn't like the Storm. To say they were helped yesterday instead of hindered is just plain and simple dumb bias.  Both officials managed their best to get Souths back into that game yesterday (and succeded) but Melbourne were just too good. Don't let the truth get in the road of a good story hey Uncle Chop Chop!!? Believe me, I hate Melbourne too but call a spade a spade FFS!
