Storm players get a 1 match suspension , I bet the players who had a BBQ are feeling a little hard done by . Oh and Cameron Munted is off to rehab for a month for " alcohol " issues. Yeah right.
Which brings me to the next question , why wernt these guys drug tested ?

Because the NRL doesn't drug test out of season.

Wouldn't have mattered if ASADA busted them anyway. Under Sport Integrity Australia and WADA, recreational substances no longer carry a massive penalty. Three months suspension would've been meted out if the Storm did nothing. Brent Naden was the precedent, it's likely even with a drug test they would've been suspended for a month over the off-season by SIA and then it would have been up to the club regarding further punishment.
Naden only copped a month of a backdated ban because Penrith suspended him for four matches. NRL couldn't suspend Naden as SIA handed him a suspension so it was left to the club in the end.

Only becasue the Players Association got it in place that testing is not perrmitted outside the season. Again, what a joke. So all the players can used performance enhancers during the off season, and cut the use off withing a time frame that it won't show up? Laughable. If the pricks had nothing to hide, they would have voluntarily been tested to clear their names. People can't be this stupid.

Well they can thank the RLPA for negotiating well on their behalf.
