Ironically the Great Gus Mecurio Goulding publicly stated that Stewart Mills had what he considered 'the best debut of any Rugby league player he had seen' in a game for Cronulla probably in 2001 I think. He has had a lot of injury concerns since then. But does have some talent.
Just glad it wasn't Ben Freaking Pomeroy from the Sharks ffs......
I guess what we have to do when we judge these signings, is judge them against who we're letting go. In this instance, it's Cheyse Blair.
I think if your going looking into the lower grades for signings, Cronulla is obviously a good place to start - as there NSW Cup team is very strong.
But the reality is that after looking like a potential top player when he debuted in 2011, he's been bypassed by a number of young Sharks outside backs.
He's a good size, but not particularly fast for an outside back, which is really what I'm keen to see be brought into the club.
He can play centre and wing, which I think is important, but IMO his ceiling is nowhere near that of Blairs.
"Barnett is too old and past it..Id rather keep Samrani and I'm surprised he's not in the side against the Broncos..If this is even remotely true it's a really ridiculous and idiotic idea"
"LB, you disagree a bit with whom we target and what we will pay, which confuses me at times. If you had 1 target, Who would you target and what would you be prepared to pay and give to make it happen. Its cool if you don't want to answer, to me…"

Solid enough, nothing special. IMO it'd be a depth signing more than anything else.
Well done Nolan and Stuart.
Great signing........
For Bundy Cup.
If true we are kidding, id rather keep blair, this is a poor signing.
Not all that great.. would prefer most other wingers/centres. Tim Lafai would be way better

Looks like he can also play fullback if need be, 1EE, at least according to the Sharks website.
