Steve Crichton to sign with Bulldogs

As the title reads. Crichton told Panthers teammates this morning apparently he won't be there after this season. He will be accepting a contract with the Bulldogs (heavily rumoured) after this season. Crichton's deal expected to be around 1 mill per season.

Surely this helps us in our bid against them to retain Moses I'd say.

    • Heard bulldogs weren't interested in Mosses anyway. Never made an official offer. Only letting rumours circulate to let Parra pay overs and squeeze their cap/roster so as to push out good fringe players onto the market. That's the game these clubs play with each other. Only clubs that actual pay unders are Roosters and Storm

      • That's what clubs say when they miss out on a signing.  The dogs wanted moses and were confident they would get him.

  • Moses next to sign with Bulldogs.

    • Highly unlikely now I'd say haha.

      • Heavily backended deal.

        • Lol doesn't work like that. They've signed a bunch of their new expensive recruits on multi year deals, they couldn't show a cap compliant contract that would be backended enough that would pass NRL audit.

Signing Critter basically means the Dogs are out of the race for Moses.

          • Exactly, yes correct.

          • It works for all the other clubs that are found to be over the salary cap.

    • Fuck this is boring shit
