Sterling's Blues Line Up

Sterling has made his Origin 2 team public. He says Jarryd should be in the team. Well Ricky. Will you listen to one of the finest minds in the NRL or will you continue with your pig-headed decisions? Here is what Sterlo had to say on Jarryd Hayne:

Firstly if the hamstring strain sustained by Brett Morris was to rule him out, the obvious replacement on the wing would be Jarryd Hayne.

"Ricky's policy is to pick position specialists, but Jarryd has already shown that he not only handles being on the flank at this elite level – he excels. In 2009 he took out the Brad Fittler medal as NSW's best after playing all three games on the wing."

Here is Sterlo's Line Up

1. Josh Dugan
2. Jarryd Hayne
3. Michael Jennings
4. Mark Gasnier
5. Akuila Uate
6. Jamie Soward
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Michael Weyman
9. Michael Ennis
10. Kade Snowden
11. Beau Scott
12. Greg Bird
13. Paul Gallen

14. Ben Creagh
15. Tim Mannah
16. Jason King
17. Kurt Gidley

Personally I would prefer Hindy to Creagh and Hayne to FB. Otherwise i'm pretty happy with the team.

  • old news
  • Luke lewis in for Creagh.
And trent merrin wasn't the problem in origin 1 therefore he should stay and King should be replaced by TLL.
Other than that, I'd be happy with that.
  • How is it old? It was posted on NRL.com yesterday.
  • lol now there is a shawn michaels on the site, isn't he a wrestler?
  • I think Lewis for Creagh and Hindy for Beau Scott, and sames I would get rid of King for Merrin.
  • Sticky does have a big ego..
  • Sterlo knows that NSW is not as good as Jarryd, Jarryd....
  • On nrl.com it says Morris is right to play, but is still looking like being dropped
  • If Stuart see Hayne as a 5-8, it would be humble pie for him to select Hayne at fullback, let alone wing. It would be embarrassing for Stuart if he selected Hayne at any other position than 5-8 and make a mockery of what he was saying previously.
  • watmough for creagh

"Well he was offered a path at least, maybe not in the position he wanted but guarenteed FG week in week out. Penrith there was never certainty of starting straight away.
Not sure who offered more in financials though. "

"Are you talking about Julio Jones? It was sad seeing him decline the way he did. He signed with Tampa, who i support, it was a shame seeing a shell of his former HOF self."

I cannot answer for EA, but if there is a kid to play 6 now the closest bet would be Papali'i or Volkman. In future Twidle or Talataina could be the future.

"Agreed. But that has to begin at an organisational level, not just the football department.
when staff turnover is like a revolving door, it is never a good sign of stability"
