Thanks Carlo .... whatever way we look at it we are in a bind . One thing I have learnt from 40 more years of footy is you generally don't lose ability within 6 months and confidence can return very quickly . We have two games against teams we generally play well against . If we can turn it around a bit - penrith will get a rude shock in semi final week 1.
Penrith are very smug and I think the fall will come very hard when it does. Be very confident in saying they won't win the competition.
Very true Paul. Great summation imo. Roosters are the team to beat! The Parra boys have the ability that is something no one on this site can deny. They need to back themselves. Parra are always better when playing unstructured with support.
On the money. We played simple footy coming out of our end, short power plays all night. Though when we have fill in hookers that's the sort of footy you play, you won't be adding in some long passes/trick plays.

Not so subtle in my book Carlo.
The really scary comment was the Eels had 2nd best defence, while at the same point in time the right side was 7th - now if the team as a whole is 2nd, as averaged out overall, then it is plain to see that nearly ALL the defensive errors must be on our right side but nothing appears to ever been done to address this major flaw.
EVERY game we see the same stupidity from Blake and Blake - WHY?
At the Rorters and early on with the Eels, Blake Ferguson was one of the best defenders out wide you could get.
Well said Sterlo.. no matter how much people wanna sugar coat it...We are horribly coached. We were statistially perhaps a 60 point worse team last night and have played like a bottom 3 team the last 5 weeks. People at the club need to look deeper than ladder position.
His comments there are damning towards the coach without directly saying it. No gameplan, no ability to play out of our own end , one out footy ..both our centres defend a different style and he cant work out why it hasn't been fixed... this is on BA.
