Pure Speculation. Do you think he could be a long term fullback option for us . I know we don't want to get in a bidding war. Or do we have enough in house talent for the ultimate replacement of Gutho.
He could also play centre and cover fullback and ultimately go there when we move Gutho on ...
Anyway just some thoughts ????

A bit to early to move Gutho just yet, he's doing fine, and I can't see us moving our captain on when it is time, we'll move him to another position, most likely centre (pending Gutho decides to stay of course).
We'll want to pick up the best up and coming fullback then if we don't develop one. Joseph Suali should be ready to go at fullback in a year or two...
Yeah could be but what pay Crichton big coin to sit at centre until 2026 where he will move to 1, when we already have Penisini and Blake in the centres and have a hole in the second-row next year. Buying Crichton would be luxary signing for us like Kikau to Bulldogs, other parts needed but just bought great players and find a spot for them.
I would not be upset if we did buy Crichton, i would be excited but also think it is smarter to get another back-rower before even looking at best player available. Note Blake is off-contract in 2023 so could make an argument he would be a good centre option and put Blake on the wing for that season as Sivo has not taken his option for 2023 so might need a winger, but still think it is more luxary.
No Gutho puts his body on the line week in week out and his effort upon effort plays are the best in the comp. Crichton has talent but he is not in Gutherson Leugue as a fullback.
