Dylan Brown was a great player prior to this year. That's how he got such a big offer to leave:

Then why was the whole world shocked that he got such an offer ?
Because the reported $1.3M was about $300k too much. Even gun players can be overpaid, but jilted Eels fans are carrying on like he's only worth half a million.
He's still not even worth a million, not even remotely close. Maybe a 750-800k player , and no not jilted , I said that long before the Knights bailed us out of his ridiculous contract.
Based on his 2020-2024 form he is definitely worth $1M. It was only this year he fell off a cliff. Is this year an outlier or the new normal? I guess we'll find out.
He's not worth 1 million, thats Cameron Munster or Deardon money. Dylan is too hit and miss to be wearing that, and Newcastle are obviously buying him as an organiser, which he can't do and never will. He's worth 75o tops
