Stand up for the players

There it is. Our 2016 season has hit a shattering road block. But now is not the time to turn on each other. Forget the board room, forget the factions, forget all that. We're all Parramatta supporters at the end of the day. We support the team first. We all bleed blue and gold. This is not the time to pack up shop.

They can strip us of our Nines title but we were the best team over that weekend and as far as I'm concerned that trophy is ours

This side has shown an unbelievable amount of guts and determination this season and now it's time we do the same. A 12 point deduction will be difficult to overcome. But not impossible. The players need our support right now. They need to run out to a full Pirtek Stadium when we play the Bunnies and see a blue and gold wall.

We've sat through season after season of mediocre efforts. This side is top four quality.

Brad Arthur has done a tremendous job in assembling the roster and the players are playing for each other and they're playing for us.

On May 13 get out to Parramatta Stadium and stand shoulder to shoulder with your fellow blue and gold supporters.

There's more than half the season left, this season is not over and I'm not prepared to begin waiting for next year already. Our players have shown pride in the jersey this year and they've shown how committed they are to the cause.

This is when we show that we are the best supporters in the league.

  • Well said mate.

Our fans have showcased their passion and commitment over the last 5 years, i doubt that it will stop now.

  • Well if this investigation didn't get us and finish our season, surely the bunker would have if we made it to September.

    • No doubt about it.

  • Stay Strong, Stay United - Isn't that a Steve Sharp quote.

  • Steve Sharp and his chronies were swanning around the Bulldogs game sideline like they are kings of the world and they put us in this shit?

    Yeah nar.

  • I know rugby league isn't known for its vocal support but I'd love to hear a You'll Never Walk Alone next match.

  • Might have the best supporters in the league but our administration sux! Rort the cap and finish last. What a joke

  • They may as well stripped all points off us this year. The NRL know very well that there is no way we can shed enough players this year to drop below the cap, not at this time of the year.
This is just Farked TRIAL BY MEDIA and the NRL rolled over. Bastards.
  • Have we lost our nine title? I'm hearing we have!!
    • Yep, the jewel in the crown, gut wrenching I know.

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
