Statistic of interest

Why do we put ourselves through this each weekend? Hurts when you lose the Thursday night game and have to sit through the rest of the weekend with that sick feeling.Of interest, 10 of our 17 ran 100+ metres tonight, and 2 ran 90+. Our next best this season was only 7 - on two occasions. Any thoughts as to what changed? Did we run harder? Is Suncorp a metre-eating ground? Faster play balls? Or just an anomaly? Strange stat considering the many frustrations of the game.

  • We ran hard and straight and got in behind the ruck, you know, what the good teams have been doing all season.

  • Broncos are highly over rated this year. Playing poorly and handed 3 games by refs. Take those 3 wins off them and soft penalties in few other games they are outside the 8. Paul White is smart operator and he knows broncos are struggling hence big play for Bellamy.
    • 100% correct
  • Tonights style is what we need to stick to, the players need to work on their support play, it has been coached out of them by the style we have been playing, it becomes habit, stick to what we did tonight and the support play will improve and tries will come. There was a lot of good to come out of tonight.

  • Thats because we ran straight we need yo follow the forwards f me dead Alvaro terepo and gower all had there arms free tonight but no one in support
  • Hurts more knowing we are not even half way through the season and it’s over .. who gives a flying fuck what happens here on in
  • I honestly thought we looked pretty good tonight with the footy. Any luck at all and we score 3 or 4 tries which would have won game. Jennings had 2 tries denied by a late strip, French try called back. There is 3 right there.

"Whether there is a definitive answer or not, it'll have nothing to do with us signing Pezet. He was only available for 2026. He had already signed with the Broncos long term from 2027."
