  I refuse to watch it this year. I've never not watched one. The build up doesn't interest me for the first time. It's my silent protest to how the club, the NRL and the media have handled our situation.

  The way the media cream their pants every year is sickening.
  SOO used to be great but the game today is a shadow of its better self, it's been diluted to buggery.
  Anyway I will watch it but it's just another game for me - don't ever care who wins tbh.

  Origins fecking boring these days , no shoulder charges , no biff , no heart . It's a toss up between watching SOO and playing Lego with the kids for me , seriously it's days are numbered .
  
  Back in the day the game used to be edge of your seat stuff , even if one team was better , the game could turn on a dime from one big hit or a fight , these days you virtually know who's gunna win after the first 10 minutes .
  
  It should be refereed totally seperate to NRL rules .

    Could not agree more.  It is not the spectacle that it once was. Queensland winning endlessly has also not helped.
