State of Origin – Game 1, 2010 Its State v state, and mate v mate,Its Leagues most prized event.Its 80 minutes where friends you hateAnd Origin Poetry’s sent. The scene is set, 3 games ahead,Origin turns 30 years old.Its Birthday card is filled with namesAnd feats of warriors bold! The names of greats who played it tough,They battled till the end.and when the full time siren sounds,became mere mortal again. Tonight the war continues,Don’t get the message mixed.I declare I hate all Queensland,They’re a bunch of Red neck Hicks! I hate them more than Victorians,Their sisters are their Aunts.And if the Vics are Mexicans,Well they’re all Mexicant’s! Lets finish off this war of words,For names all count for naught.And unlike Melbourne PremiershipsWhat we have can’t be bought! Its passion for our StateIts New South Wales fightIts wiping Qld from the parkWith a Solid win tonight! A PProse Production 2010 GO THE MIGHTY BLUES!
