Starting Props

I think Wicks needs to start this week vs the Tigers.

Mannah to the bench.

  • I would leave both Lussick and Mannah but start Wicks at lock to be used as a middle forward (Manu and Choc 2nd row). These 3 can bash the tigers for the 1st 20 and allow us to get on top early. The tigers rely a lot on their go forward which we need to stop.
    • What about Moeroa? He should be back this week

  • No keep the forwards as they are, they are going well so you do not change what is not broke.

    • How are they going well?

In the first few games except for Manly (as their forward pack is rubbish) we have been under the pump. Same goes for the Souths game. It was not until Wicks came on for an injured Mannah that we started to get on top.

  • Perhaps but whatever we do we need to have the speed to limit the room Brooks has. If we stand off him then we will pay dearly.
  • gotta smash tapau!!!!!! he is a beast!

  • Winning 2 from 4 and beating souths is going well in my books.

    • You have not noticed the first 20 mins of our games? We only got on top of Souths after Mannah came off injured replaced by Wicks.

      • I think it had more to do with Gower being in the defensive line.

Mannah makes good metres and has quick play the balls.

        • No, TBUR - you're not reading from the lemmings' script.

It has been decided by the experts on this forum that "Mannah is shit" and so despite the fact that he consistently makes 130-140m per game, plays the ball quickly and doesn't miss tackles, the fact that he is not explosive like Fui or aggressive like Lussick, he must simply be shit!
