I think Justin Horo should start games instead of coming off the bench.

Mateo is better as an impact player, coming off the bench, working around and the ruck when the forwards tire.

Also this will help horo become a top first grade player, not just a 30 minute bench player.

What do you guys think?

  • Hmmmm

Not a bad idea but i think we need Mateo on the field as much as we can as we want him in form as he can be a match winner for us.........lets just get what we can out of Mateo for now!!

Horo yes would love more game time - but in saying that DA is using him very well off the bench so lets not go ruin that...
  • If Horo was an established first grader you may have a point, but he is still finding his feet and Mateo has been improving in his role.

Forget the fact that Mateo is leaving, in this day and age that shouldn't be a factor.
  • NO, NO , NO!
hes still an eel for 2010!
i want to see him there when we win it!
if he signed for the bulldogs, manly or dragons, then by all means drop him the lowest level possible!
  • Why make changes when we are winning games?
  • its worth a thought
but lets not forget mateo didnt want to leave so lets not punish him
if we are to win the comp we will need him fit and happy
  • No make mateo play 80 minutes......
  • NUP
  • We need Mateo on the field. Its our only chance of getting the best out of him this year. Maximum minutes = Maximum opportunities!
  • We all know what Mateo is capable of doing in a game with damaging runs and some mind bobbling offloads (which most players wont attempt). Lets just keep it the same for now he might and even Inu might play a more relaxed type of free flowing footy the type no one can defend against (lets face it if it wasn't for the salary cap they would be an Eel for life).

IMO we should let Horo graduate and work his way up into the starting lineup like Tim Mannah has started to do, both players will be key players in the near future.
  • Sorry cannot and will not agree with such a statement!!!!!

Mateo went somewhere where he can put himself in a better financial situation who can blame him

How many people whinged and complained about how much Hayne recently resigned for?................Not many i would say!!!!!!

Facts are Hayne,Tahu and co have taken a big slice of the salary cap but dont blame Hayne like Mateo he is doing the best for himself!!!

The guy needs to be on the field PERIOD did you see the Broncos drop Civonicieva when he was going to the Panthers

Sorry but the blog is BS
