  • MRC , Bunker and standard of referring in 2023 is very ordinary.  Tough job but there appears to be ZERO consistency and accountability. We have had our season dictated by officials more than once.

  • There is a difference

One plays for Parramatta who's demise sells papers

One plays for Penrith who are going for a feel good 3 in a row story.

    • An undeserved 3 in a row story

      • More so that nobody is mentioning it, Sivo's was mentioned a lot that he should get heaps of weeks, Luai nothing mentioned.

Should have been more clear i guess.

        • Hooper made a deal of it in the paper yesterday and on Triple M on Sunday.

      • $$$$

  • I mean the obvious answer is Sivo was making a tackle, with an attempt to wrap the arm. Whereas sh!t-for-brains makes no attempt to wrap the arm and leads with the shoulder. So one is a dangerous contact and one is careless.

  • Difference is that Sivo actually tried to tackle the guy. Luai just tried to smash the guy with a shoulder.

If Luai got same charge and it was only his 2nd then the 3K is standard.

  • Let's not forget Sivo was in the papers for about 3 weeks running prior to this for similar offences. He'd been given a fair bit of leeway on previous offences. To be fair and unbiased , he was due for a suspension. 4 weeks was plenty harsh and he was certainly treated unfairly with the length of time he copped , but he had been asking for it.
