the mighty WSW have secured their first spoon and the eels under the fantastic and innovative Brad Arthur, could be looking at their 3rd spoon in the last 5 years.
Lets hope that the Gods and the EELS own Jesus can work out a miracle through divine intervention to stop what looks to be the inevitable .

We're 2 and 4. It doesn't mean the spoon is ours. If you've been on here a while you'll see the way the mood changes from week to week. A couple of losses hurt. It doesn't mean the season is over.
Were you on here mid 2009? We were absolutely diabolical and easily the worst team in the comp. We deserved the spoon. Then we went on that magical run to the GF. In round 26 we stumbled against the Dragons. We didn't even score a point. Once again people were saying how pathetic we were, despite the huge run we'd been on.
Losing hurts. Being an Eels fan hurts even more. I'm not convinced that we'll ever win another comp. I hope we win this year. I hope we win every year. Every off season I find myself saying 'Maybe next year?'. Every year since 1986! It took the Bunnies 43 years. We're not that far away from breaking their record.
There's a time and place to vent. Saying in Week 7 that the spoon is surely ours? Don't give up just yet.
Some on here take offence to cold hard facts.
It's almost as though some people think we are talking bad about their mums.
When the team wins or shows some mongrel the receive the wraps from all and sundry on here but when they lose like they have the last two weeks they should expect to hear negative feedback and brutal honesty. If they cant handle it they should go play marbles or get a real job.
