We could have the worst spine of any club for 2017.....

Manly: Korisau, Green, DCE, Trebojevic

Storm: Smith, Munster, Cronk, Slater

Dogs: Leichha, Reynolds, Mbye, Morris

Tigers: Ballin, Moses, Brooks, Tedesco

Cowboys: Granville, Morgan, Thurston, Coote

Sharks: Cherrington, Townsend, Maloney, Barba

Souths: Farrah, Walker, Reynolds, Inglis

Knights: Kostjason, Mullen, Hodgkinson, Gagai

Warriors: Luke, Johnson, Foran, RTS

Panthers: Wallace, Martin, Cleary, Moylan

Titans: Peats, Elgey, Taylor, Hayne

Broncos: McCullough, Milford, Hunt, Boyd

Roosters: Friend, Keary, Pearce, Mitchell

Raiders: Hodgson, Austin, Seizer, Weighton

Dragons: McInnes, Widdop, Huchison, Dugan

Eels: IDG, Gutherson, Norman, French

We really need to recruit a decent hooker - perhaps Damien Cooke, Mitch Rein, or Connor Watson. IDG does not offer enough. Happy to experiment with Guth/Fog at 6 until a decent half becomes available though.

Warriors miles ahead of anyone else. I guess we will see what they dish up in 2017, anyone's guess?

Are we any chance of Parcell - someone mentioned in a previous blog that Manly may move him on
He would be the only available hooker I would prefer to IDG - not that I have seen much of Parcell but he seems to have potential

Apart from Hooker I am happy with our spine and IDG is a great player, he just seems to have slowed down a bit. Not sure if just age, he looks depressed or something to me. Doesn't even celebrate when he scores.

Spines are a myth. and after next year, no one will talk about them when the Warriors don't make the 8 with the All Time Greatest "Spine"

I'm a bit concerned about who you think are better than IDG. Rein? Cooke? Watson? Dear oh dear oh dear! In my humble opinion Pritchard runs rings around all of your propositions. That is the beauty of this site everyone has a valued opinion.

  Adam, you know what strikes fear in other teams? When your up against a team who plays hard for 80mins!
  Everyone is putting so much emphasis on star power. Please did any watch the roosters? Did anyone watch manly? Bulldogs? None of them gel'ed as a team!
  
  We had had team in 2016 who was given reason after reason to give up and throw in the towel. Yet they always hooked in and did a job.
  
  I'm not concerned at all with our team on paper because I know when they chuck on the jersey they all put in!
