Spare a thought for the West Wales Raiders

THEY may be trying their damndest, but the poor old West Wales Raiders can’t catch (or make) a break.

The UK League One outfit has just been smashed by former Super League powerhouse Bradford Bulls 124-0.

West Wales came into the Bulls tie off the back of a world record 144-0 loss to York, resulting in the sacking coach.

That’s 268-0 in two games.

The Raiders moved into League One from the Welsh Premier League after acquiring a licence from South Wales last year -- and it hasn’t done much to transform the fortunes of the franchise.

Their astonishing record -- six defeats from six starts -- leaves them with a points differential of -530.

To put that into context, the Raiders have conceded an average of more than 15 conceded tries a game in 2018.

So perhaps your NRL team isn’t as bad as you thought.

  • BWAWAWA typical Super Eel analysis.

Let's look for something worse so we can all look better. I don't get that.
    • Chief, did you not see that I posted this from Fox Sports? I did not write it. It's sitting in League blogs as it's rugby league news, and it's something interesting given their recent scorelines.

    • Fair enough, but relating it to our situation is a bit much for mine.
    • Chief, i don't see where this has been related to Parra, other than in your comments
  • Can you put this in top blogs?

  • Lol big drama!
  • How is this supposed to make us feel better? A league 1 UK team getting flogged?

What we need to focus debate on, in my opinion is credible coach, management and roster replacements in preparation for next year as clearly this season is down the toilet

    • There are plenty of blogs on that offload. Don't like this blog? Don't click on it.

  • Fascinating really fascinating, top blog for sure.
